Clues:

A word of caution to those who might follow brave Sir Lancelot deep into the forests of Wolf Creek State Park, the trail is fraught with many dangers. Ok, so maybe not, but do be aware that poison ivy, brambles, spiders, ticks, and the other usual central IL dangers exist here. Drive past the campground entrance and leave your carriage at the Red Fox trailhead found on the right side of the road. Starting at the trailhead, follow the path to the right to a ravine on the right side of the path. Eventually, you shall come to a small maple tree standing in the exact center of a fork where you can trace Sir Lancelotís trail to the left or go right and wander lost in the forest forever (or at least for the next three miles or so). Continue on the left-hand path to another intersection and follow the arrow that Sir Lancelot has cleverly left to mark the trail. Sixteen paces past the corner will put you even to the stump of a fallen tree along the right side of the path. Standing at this stump, look to the left for a tree with an unsightly growth at itís base. Fear not, for this tree hides not an evil spirit, but the treasure you are searching for lays in this homely growth, covered with bark.
